Visa Applications from people currently living in the following states will be filed by Ambassador Passport and Visa Services through the New Zealand Los Angeles Consulate: Alaska,Hawaii, New Mexico, Wyoming, Arizona, Idaho, Oregon, California, Montana, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, and Washington. Ambassador Passport and Visa Services will file applications from residents of all other states through the Embassy of New Zealand in Washington D.C.
• No Visa is Required for U.S. Citizens for stay of up to three months
• U.S. Passport must be valid 3 months beyond intended stay
• Tickets and Documents for return or onward travel is required
• A visa is required for a stay of three to six months.
• Submit your valid passport, must have at least six months remaining validity
• 1 Fully completed and signed Visa Application Form
• 1 Passport photograph
• Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary
• Proof of sufficient funds for support in New Zealand (ie: Copy of most recent bank statement or letter of reference from bank showing at least NZ$1000 for each month of the stay.)
• For Non U.S. Citizens, evidence of legal residency in U.S.A. is also required (ie: valid multiple entry visa with I-94 attached, Notarized copy of alien registration card, or original)
• Completed Ambassador Passport and Visa Cover Letter
• No Visa is Required for U.S. Citizens for stay of up to three months. A visa is required if performing repairs, installations, start-ups etc.
• U.S. Passport must be valid 3 months beyond intended stay
• Tickets and Documents for return or onward travel is required
• A visa is required for a stay of three to six months.
• Submit your valid passport, must have at least six months remaining validity
• 1 Fully completed and signed Visa Application Form
• 1 Passport photograph

• A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to: Consulate General of New Zealand. The letter must explain all of the following:
• The purpose of travel and duties to be performed in New Zealand
• Guarantee financial support for the applicant while in New Zealand
• The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant
• For Non U.S. Citizens, evidence of legal residency in U.S.A. is also required (ie: valid multiple entry visa with I-94 attached, Notarized copy of alien registration card, or original)
• Completed Ambassador Passport and Visa Services Cover Letter
